Stoicism is an old Greek / Roman philosophy. I came across it while finding references to Marcus Aurelius book Meditation.
Other interesting authors are Seneca and Epictetus. And I recommend to explore them in the order I mentioned: Marcus, Seneca and the Epictetus.
I read, on a daily basis, a page from Ryan Holidays book “The Daily Stoic”. A great way to learn more about the philosophy.
